This second term of the Online Prayer School explores the more intangible aspects of prayer. Looking at miracles, hearing God’s voice, intercession, the spiritual gifts and dreams and visions, this school hopes to provide a contemplative-charismatic framework for an empowered and experiential life in God’s Spirit.
Along the way we’ll address some of the more confusing aspects of inspirational prayer such as unanswered prayers for healing, strange happenings in particular church cultures, apocalyptic dreams, and how to rebuild your inspirational prayer life after disappointing, frustrating or even hurtful experiences.
I’ll be drawing a lot from my own 15 years of experience in the highly and sometimes bizarre environments of the more extreme charismatic right through to how I’ve begun to marry those incredible moments with a new found love for more contemplative, rested and slowing prayers. Loving and appreciating both.
Again, I’m no prayer-professional. I’m not sure such a thing exists. But if my wrestling with understanding and holding in tension these two hands of prayer (the formational and the inspirational) can be any help to you on your journey, then let’s give it a shot!

All classes will be conducted on Zoom and will include prayer, a teaching and a class Q & R to finish.
Each class will be 1.5 hours long (depending on question time).

There are no professionals in prayer, only fellow pilgrims. This school is my way of sharing from one pilgrim to another in the hope we may leave the conversation more in love with God at the end of it.
